You will be picked up from  Kilimanjaro Airport and depart to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch to start off your game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and variety of bird species. Not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country.

After your tour around the park, you will be transferred to your hotel /camp where you will be spending the night.

You will depart the lodge at around 07:00 AM and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa.

After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site before you continue with your afternoon game drive. Thereafter we can transfer you to the airport for your flight home.

Breakfast at the lodge and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park to start your game drive. The Park is renowned for its tree climbing lions and diverse bird life including large flocks of flamingos. Spend the afternoon around the shallow soda lake which occupies two thirds of the park at the foot of great riff valley. After your tour around the breathtaking park you will be transferred to the airport or hotel depending on your flight schedule.

What type of safari vehicles do you use for wildlife viewing.

We use both 4x4 Toyota land cruisers with a pop up roof for ease of game viewing with a maximum of 7 people per ca. A window seat is guaranteed for every customer.

When is the best time to take a Tanzania safari?

The best time to visit both Kenya and Tanzania is during the dry seasons from mid June through October, this is also the peak season and the parks are frequented with many travelers. Therefore it's a wise idea to reserve your spot early in advance. April and May happens to be a rainy season and are definitely not the best to experience the wildlife safaris.

What about malaria?

It’s advisable to consider taking antimalarial pills before hand, there is a risk of catching malaria in Africa. It is highly recommended to ask your doctor’s advice about antimalarial drugs before leaving your country. Malaria is transmitted by mosquitoes and, as the insects are most active at night, it is recommended that travelers wear long-sleeved trousers and shirts at night and sleep under mosquito net. Remember to bring along your mosquito repellent.

How safe is an African safari?

Wild animal attacks are extremely rare and we have never had such an incident. But it is always important to remember that you will be travelling through the wilderness hence it is of utmost importance to abide by the rules and regulations of the parks and accommodation facilities you will be staying so as to ensure your safety. Always listen to your driver-guides advice and instructions as far as wild animals are concerned. While travelling with small children please make sure you do not let them out of your site or wander alone. In some private tented camps it is important to have an escort with you when moving in and out of your tent at night.

Is there cell-phone signal reception while on Safari?

There is good cell reception at most points while you are on safari. Also all our vehicles are equipped with radio calls which makes communication easy where phone reception is not available.
